Describing feelings and emotions at CEFR Level B1

Describing feelings and emotions at CEFR Level B1 is an important skill in English. It can be difficult because of the huge range of vocabulary that you need to know to express yourself accurately, but understanding the (often small) differences between important words will make a difference.

You probably already know the basics – feeling happy or sad, for example – but in order to really improve your English and complete Level B1, you need to be able to use a much wider range so you can be more specific in what you are trying to say. You also need to be able to ask other people about how they feel and to reply appropriately so that you sound friendly and interested in other people. It’ can be especially important in the workplace or in business settings, but of course it also important on a social level.
